Go Rider ‘Registration’ Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. Prize information and instructions in any promotional material form part of these terms and conditions.
  2. By entering this prize draw you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
  3. Entry is open to all New Zealand residents except NZ Bus ("The Promoter"), employees, their associated companies, immediate families, or agencies associated with this promotion.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is in breach of the terms and conditions of the promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  5. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for non-receipt of an entry for any reason.
  6. Entry is only by online registration of a Go Rider card at www.gorider.co.nz
  7. To register a Go Rider card for entry into a monthly prize draw, visit www.gorider.co.nz and follow the online prompts to register the unique information on your Go Rider card.
  8. Each Go Rider card is unique and can only be registered once. An entrant may only enter the competition once with each Go Rider card held.
  9. All valid entries received during the preceding calendar month will be eligible for the monthly draw which will take place by the 7th of the following calendar month. All entries received for a monthly draw will not be eligible for any subsequent monthly draws.
  10. The monthly prize is $100 worth of bus travel on any Metrolink, LINK, GO WEST, Waka Pacific or North Star bus service and will be awarded to the first valid entry drawn from the entries received during the previous month.
  11. The prize is non-transferable.
  12. Unless required to do so by law, NZ Bus will not sell, trade or rent any of the information provided to them on the Go Rider website . NZ Bus may, from time to time, hire trusted third parties to help them process the information received by us on the Go Rider website for specific projects, however customer information will be protected by strict confidentiality agreements.
  13. With customer consent, from time to time NZ Bus may by either email or text ,supply customers with further information concerning our goods and services that they believe may be relevant to the customer. These messages may detail changes to timetables, fares or services, or fare product promotions. All email and text messages will contain an unsubscribe option which may be used at any time to either request that NZ Bus stop sending the updates, and/or remove oneself from our database. Any request to unsubscribe from updates or remove oneself from the Go Rider database will be actioned as soon as is practicable.
  14. In the event that NZ Bus are concerned about abnormal usage patterns or possible security breaches, the company reserves the right to collect further information for security and fraud prevention purposes.
  15. The Go Rider website may use cookies and sessions to provide customers with certain services of the website. Accepting a cookie will not give NZ Bus access to any data on a customer’s computer other than the data stored in the cookie.
  16. The person whose personal information is used to fill out the online registration form is deemed the entrant and eligible prize recipient.
  17. All draws are final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by phone. If the Promoter or their designated agents are unable to make contact with the winner having attempted to contact them by landline or mobile at least three times and left messages where possible, they reserve the right to re-draw and re-allocate the prize to another entrant after 3 days following the date of the draw.
  18. If a prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize may be awarded, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, to their parent or legal guardian.
