Go Rider Promotion
- Prize information and instructions appearing in promotional material form part of these terms and conditions.
- By entering this competition you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
- Entry is only open to all full time tertiary and school students living in New Zealand except New Zealand Bus Limited (“the Promoter”) employees, employees of their associated companies, their immediate families, or employees of agencies associated with this promotion.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is in breach of the terms and conditions of the promotion. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for non-receipt of an entry for any reason nor will the Promoter accept any responsibility or liability for any interruption, delay or defect of the Go Rider Website.
- The promotion will commence from 19 July and will continue through until midnight on Saturday 31st July 2010 ("the promotional period"). Entries must be validly submitted and received within these times.
- Ownership of Go Rider cards remains at all times with New Zealand Bus Limited and are issued in accordance with the Go Rider Terms and Conditions of Use which can be found here.
- Entry is only by online registration of a Go Rider card at www.gorider.co.nz. To enter, visit the Go Rider website, and follow the online prompts to register the unique information on your Go Rider card. Each Go Rider card entitles the customer to one entry. The information on the card is unique and can only be registered on the Go Rider website once.
- The person whose personal information is used to fill out the online registration form is deemed the entrant and shall be the eligible prize recipient.
- The prize draw will take place on Monday 2 August 2010 from all valid entries received over the promotional period. The first eligible entry drawn will win the prize of unlimited free travel on any Metrolink, LINK, North Star, GO WEST or Waka Pacific bus, valued at $925.00. This will be issued by way of 5 x $185.00 Go Rider monthly All Zone pass. Monthly All Zone passes can be used for all bus travel within zones A & B but cannot be used for Nite Rider or special services. NZBus will use its best endeavors to distribute the prize to the winner no later than Friday 6th August 2010. If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years old, the prize may be awarded, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
- All draws are final and the prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No correspondence shall be entered into.
- The winner will be notified by telephone. If the Promoter or their designated agents are unable to make contact with the winner having attempted to contact them by landline or mobile at least three times and having left messages where possible, they reserve the right to re-draw and re-allocate the prize to another entrant, 3 days after the date of the draw.
- With customer consent by way of tick box options on the Go Rider website, New Zealand Bus Limited may from time to time, by either email or text, supply customers with further information concerning goods and services that they believe may be relevant to the customer. These messages may detail changes to timetables, fares or services, or fare product promotions. All email messages will contain an unsubscribe option which may be used at any time to either request that New Zealand Bus Limited stop sending updates, and/or requesting that they be removed from the Go Rider database.
- Any opt out request, or any future request to unsubscribe from updates or to remove themselves from the Go Rider database will be actioned as soon as possible.
- The Go Rider website may use cookies and sessions to provide customers with certain services of the website. Accepting a cookie will not give New Zealand Bus Limited access to any data on a customer's computer other than the data stored in the cookie.
- Unless required to do so by law, New Zealand Bus Limited will not sell, trade or rent any of the information provided to them on the Go Rider website. New Zealand Bus Limited may, from time to time, hire trusted third parties to help them process the information received through the Go Rider website for specific projects, however customer information will be protected by strict confidentiality agreements. - In the event that New Zealand Bus Limited is concerned about abnormal usage patterns or possible security breaches, the company reserves the right to collect further information for security and fraud prevention purposes.
- By entering, the winner agrees to the use of their name, locality and photograph for publicity purposes without further compensation.
- The Promoter makes no warranties or representations regarding the prize.
